A small bar, one bartender, and a conversation that picks up where you left it. Mara runs the place, pours what you ask for, and remembers you between visits — all of it running on your own machine. No account, no cloud, no one else listening in.

About This Game

A bar that is open whenever you are.

Push the door, take a stool, and talk. Mara is behind the counter — she has opinions about the weather, the regulars, and what you should be drinking. She is not a menu tree. Whatever you say, she answers.

She remembers you.

Not a save file with your name in it. After you leave, the conversation is distilled into what she actually retained: things about you, moments worth keeping, threads left open, and a slowly shifting read on how well she knows you. Come back next week and she picks it up — including how long you were gone.

Everything she remembers is visible to you, and anything you delete is gone from her head for good.

She actually tends bar.

Thirty-odd real builds behind the counter, and she knows them. Ask what goes into a sazerac and she will tell you truthfully. Ask for something bitter, or something to sip on, and she will pick something that fits. The whiskey classics are in her hands from years of practice; a drink she has made twice, you will watch her think through.

What you order goes on your tab at her prices, and settling up is its own small moment.

The bar is a place, not a backdrop.

  • Every night is its own night, decided by the date — weather the window actually shows, a crowd that comes and goes, small things that go wrong.
  • The regulars are a fixed cast, rolled once for your bar and permanent after that. The same faces in the same coats, arriving on their own schedule, holding their own seats.
  • Mara knows them in proportion to how long they have been coming — and how much she tells you about them depends on what she makes of you.

Talk out loud, if you like.

Hold a key and speak; she hears you. Drop your music into the jukebox in the corner and it plays from that corner — and she will have something to say about your taste.

It is yours.

The whole thing runs locally, the bartender included. There is no account, no server, and nothing leaves your machine. Play with the network unplugged and nothing changes.

No combat, no quests, no score, no way to lose.

Just a stool, a drink, and someone glad you came in. Some evenings that turns out to be plenty.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

The bartender's side of every conversation is generated live, while you play, by a language model that ships inside the game and runs on your own computer. Nothing you type or say is sent anywhere. There is no account, no server, and no internet connection required — the game works with the network unplugged. When the character speaks her lines aloud, that audio is synthesised locally by the same install.

Everything else in the game is authored by hand: the world and its writing, the cast of regulars, the drink recipes, the art, and the rules the bartender plays by.

Because her dialogue is generated rather than scripted, it cannot be listed in advance. The controls on it are: a fixed authored prompt that defines the character, the setting, and what she will and will not do; a filtered generation pipeline; and a specific model chosen and regression-tested against an automated suite of behavioural checks before it ships. Anything the character has remembered about you can be viewed and permanently deleted from inside the game at any time.
