About This Game

The dragon has been dead a long time. Its vault has not. Every night the rooms rearrange themselves, and then the doors open. You and your friends are just a crew hoping to haul out a few more sacks before it seals shut.

One more room. What could go wrong.

Every time a room card flips, everyone chooses at the same moment: press on, or turn back. Whoever turns back locks their gold into camp, where nobody can touch it. Whoever presses on splits the next haul — and eats the next trap: spikes, boulders, a pendulum blade, and the one shaped like a treasure chest. Then a second disaster of the same kind turns up — a cave-in, poison fog, a curse — and everyone still down there goes down with it, carrying nothing home. Spend your health well and squeeze as much gold out of the run as you can.

Turn back alone and the relics are yours

Legendary relics sit in the dungeon waiting to be claimed, and only a player who turns back alone can carry them out — if two of you leave together nobody gets them, and they stay right where they are. Gold that doesn't divide evenly stays on the floor too, piling up the deeper the run goes, so the later you leave the more you scoop off it. Every round is the same question: turn back now and take the relics, or hold on and bet on the pile.

Four kinds of gear, four ways to play

Every round opens with a private shop, and deeper in, a black market stocks itself by headcount. Info gear lets you read the deck before you commit. Greed gear multiplies what you're already risking. Disruption gear lets you take it off someone else. Defence gear keeps you standing. Everyone can see how many items you hold. Nobody can see which.

Seven legendary relics, seven auras

Whichever one you claim runs automatically for your entire next round. True Sight reads everyone's health and purse. The Dragon's Heart pays 50% more on every hoard. The Dwarf King's Axe makes you very hard to put down. They sit deep in the dungeon and only a player who turns back alone can carry one out — so if you want a particular relic, plan how deep you go and when you turn back.

Two formats, two ways to win

Classic runs five rounds and the biggest pile in camp takes it. Race has no round limit and no camp bank at all — seal the gold you carry out into chests, and the game ends the moment someone seals their fifth. Three dungeon presets to pick from as well: rich, standard, or hard.

Better with eight. Fine with one.

Invite Steam friends in one click, up to eight players. Short a few and four AI characters fill in, each leaning on a different strategy — a good way to learn the game. Solo still gets you a full five-player table.
