About This Game

I've always wanted to keep some progression when playing a Survivors game. Something that, after a good run, gives you some results. So this is a Survivors game, but with gear that you can loot and craft, a town that you can upgrade, villagers, talent tree, stat trees.
I'm completely inept, so I've used AI all the way here. It's been fun, but I want to be clean about it, out of respect, so you can skip the game if you have any problem with this. It isn't diffusion art though, it's text based, so I haven't used a model trained on someone else's art for this. Everything was made with Claude, plain text, and I've edited some of the art and numbers by hand after, and by some I mean very little.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Goliath Rogue was made with the help of generative AI. The 2D art, the music and the sound effects were AI-generated — some of the art was then retouched by hand — and the Spanish and French translations were AI-assisted. All of it ships as fixed assets in the game; nothing is generated while you play. AI coding tools were also used during development to help write the game's code.
