Mr. Panas is an asymmetric multiplayer game for 3 to 5 players, where one player is a grumpy old man and the rest are invisible Whispers turning his house upside down. They have until morning to finish their chores. He can only use sounds, shadows and their trail of mess to catch them.

About This Game

One of you is Panas. The rest are the reason he can't sleep.

Panas spends the night chasing chairs, books and teapots that move on their own. He can't see who's behind it, but he can hear them, spot their shadows, and follow the trail of mess they leave behind.

The rest are Whispers - spending it moving them - quietly, or not so quietly - while ticking off a to-do list of "housework" before morning.

Play as a Whisper

You're a Whisper - a house spirit with ten tasks to finish before sunrise.

Lay out a midnight banquet for the mice. Move every book from the shelves onto the sofa - they clearly need a softer place to rest. Feed the old man's paperwork to the fireplace; that's tomorrow's bread taken care of.

Nobody can see you. Everybody can hear you.

Whisper to your friends, split the chores, and giggle when Panas shuffles past. He can't understand a word - but he can hear exactly where you're standing. And so can the vase you just knocked over.

Panas in the way? Bonk him. Bonk him enough and he'll let out a cloud so toxic he has to get out of it - or drop unconscious where he stands.

Caught? Panas will lock you in a chest or a wardrobe. Pick the lock to get out. Friend locked up? Go open the door and get them out.

Play as Mr. Panas

Seventy years in this house. Every creak of the floor is yours. So who moved the sofa?

You can't see Them. But you know They're real. The teapot slid across the table. The books are leaving the shelves. Somewhere behind the stove, something is giggling.

Grab the rolling pin.

Follow the mess. Follow the footsteps. Watch for a shadow where nobody's standing. Their voices come out as gibberish, but gibberish has a direction. Get close, swing, and for one glorious second you'll see the little pest before it scurries off. Catch them. Lock them in the chest, the safe, the wardrobe. Lock them all up and you win - and finally get some sleep.

Ten tasks. One night. Not one of them on your watch.

Features

  • Your voice is the game - built-in proximity voice chat is how Whispers plan and how Panas hunts. He hears you garbled and muffled, but always from the right direction. No Discord needed - here, talking is the risk.

  • One hunter, up to four pests (3-5 players) - one player is Panas with a rolling pin. The rest are invisible, chatty, and on a schedule.

  • Ten tasks, one night - Whispers win by finishing the list before dawn. Panas wins by stalling until morning - or by locking them all up. A full night takes about ten real minutes - quick enough for "one more round," every time.

  • A house full of physics - carry, throw, push, and knock things over. Every object is a tool, a weapon, or evidence.

  • Everything makes a sound - a dropped plate, a dragged chair, a creaking floorboard. For Whispers it's a risk; for Panas it's a trail.

  • Taunt the old man - call him out, lure him across the house, buy your friend ten more seconds. Giggle at your own risk.

  • Fart-Making Bonk - the Whispers' signature move. Enough bonks and Panas gasses the room. He steps out of the cloud or he goes down for a few seconds - either way, the room's yours for a moment.

  • Lock them up - Panas locks caught Whispers in the furniture. Pick the lock to get out, and help your friends get out too. If they're all locked up, Panas wins and goes back to bed.

  • Friends or strangers - invite your crew, or matchmake and fill the house in seconds.

  • Party rules - a fixed clock and unlimited revives mean nobody sits out. Getting caught just makes you late - unless everyone gets locked up.
