Ultimate Multiplayer Survival Engine is a free playable technology demonstration of our multiplayer survival game template for Unreal Engine. Explore a connected survival sandbox and experience its building, crafting, combat, inventory, character, AI and vehicle systems working together in a real multiplayer environment.

This Steam release is not a complete standalone survival game. It is a fully playable tech demo designed to showcase the features, structure and possibilities of our upcoming Unreal Engine survival template.

SCAVENGE, SURVIVE, BUILD

Explore the environment, search abandoned locations and gather the resources needed to survive. Manage your condition, organize your inventory and turn collected materials into weapons, ammunition, tools, consumables and construction components.

Establish a temporary shelter, expand it into a fortified base and use storage and crafting stations to prepare for increasingly dangerous journeys.

CREATE YOUR SURVIVOR

Build a survivor that fits your preferred approach. Equip modular clothing, armor, helmets, masks, backpacks and other visible gear, with individual equipment influencing protection, capacity, weight and additional gameplay attributes.

Customize your weapons using compatible sights, suppressors, magazines and other attachments, then prepare a loadout for exploration, close-range combat or long-distance engagements.

FIGHT ALONE OR TOGETHER

Enter the demonstration world in singleplayer, create an online session or connect with other players through a LAN or local network.

Cooperate against hostile AI, travel and construct bases as a team, or enable player-versus-player encounters. UMSE demonstrates the same replicated survival systems across singleplayer, cooperative and competitive configurations.

EXPLORE A CONNECTED SURVIVAL SANDBOX

Travel across the environment on foot or using integrated vehicles. Search for valuable loot, hunt for resources, discover points of interest and approach encounters through direct combat, long-range fire or stealth.

The demonstration brings individual mechanics together inside one playable environment instead of separating them into isolated feature levels.

BUILT FOR UNREAL ENGINE DEVELOPERS

UMSE is designed as a customizable foundation for creating multiplayer survival, open-world, shooter and sandbox projects in Unreal Engine.

This free technology demo allows developers and players to evaluate the framework from the player’s perspective, test its multiplayer functionality and see how its major gameplay systems interact before working with the complete editable template.
