BORE is a 1–4 player co-op survival-horror extraction game. Your crew serves THE MULE, a church-sized drilling machine boring down through a stratified, whispering earth: the Fill, the Old Sea, the Ossuary, and, if the tribute demands it, the Hush. The Bureau calls what you owe it the tribute. The Bureau is politely inflexible about it.

NOTICE OF PROVISIONAL SERVICE. This demo is a provisional contract: the complete BORE loop, certified for the first two strata — THE FILL and THE OLD SEA. No time limit, no run limit; dig as many cycles as you can survive. Plays solo under the governor; best with a crew of four. The daily dig runs, with its own demo leaderboards. Your compendium discoveries and your service record carry into the full game — your record of works follows you. (Run files are provisional and do not carry.)

CREW THE MACHINE. Someone watches the survey plot. Someone rides the throttle and the coolant. Someone works the winch, the klaxon, the dig door. The instruments are physical, the cabin is loud, and the deeper you drill, the richer and louder the specimens.

Out there: mineral nodes, loose relics, and the things that hear you mining — about a dozen of the full game's twenty haunt these first two strata. You are not armed. Your tools are light, noise, and nerve. Flares, sonar, stun-caps, a boarding spade. Light is your weapon; noise is your debt.
