Each day, a sick sailor is brought to your hatch. He waits at the grille, hoping to be let through.

Look closely. Check his eyes, his skin, his breath. Some hide their symptoms to avoid being cast below.

When you've made your diagnosis, you decide: let him through, or turn him away.

But every day at sea leaves its mark on you too. Look in the mirror — you are changing.
