About This Game

Gnome More Work is a cozy idle-incremental game about growing a great tree back to life. You start out clicking for every scrap yourself, until the first gnome wanders in and takes the job off your hands. From there it snowballs: new gnomes, new resources, new branches, new upgrades, and a lot less clicking.

Put the gnomes to work

Pickup a gnome and drag a gnome to assign them to a job. They will collect, haul their load back to storage and head straight back out again. 

Grow the Mighty Oak

Everything you gather goes into the tree, and every growth phase visibly reshapes the world you are playing on. New branches sprout, new ground opens up, new resources unlock and new building slots appear along the limbs. Upgrade yields, gathering speed, passive income and storage, or hire specialists like stonemasons and cooks to maximize efficiency.

Feeling lucky?

Once the resources pile up you can stop being sensible about them. Feed your hard-earned resources into the slot machine, spin the wisp wheel, or bet it all on red. Win big, or lose the lot and send the gnomes back out to earn it again.

Keep it on your desktop

Switch on transparent mode and the tree and its gnomes sit on your actual desktop while you work on something else. Glance over now and then to collect, upgrade and reassign a gnome, then get back to whatever you were supposed to be doing.
