About This Game

GRENADE! is a party game for up to 8 players. During every match the crowd keeps throwing grenades and bombs into the arena, along with banana peels, eggs and drinks. Survival is the main mode: dodge the grenades, throw them back and be the last one standing. You can also mix kart races, sports and an obstacle course into the same match.

Catch and throw back

Every grenade that lands goes off after 5 to 15 seconds, and picking it up doesn't stop the countdown. With empty hands, the throw button catches a grenade out of the air so you can send it straight back. Throw it flat, lob it over walls or bank it off them, or get close to another player, lift them up and throw them.

Survival

The last player left wins the round. After 60 seconds SUDDEN DEATH starts and the grenades fall faster and faster. There are five maps: Concrete Dome, Crumble Dock with a floor that breaks apart, a mansion Terrace, Octopus Hell with a giant octopus, and an aircraft Carrier where you can pick up and throw small fighter jets.

Chain reactions and highlights

One grenade can set off other grenades, BOMBs and barrels one after another. Longer chains push the announcer from SUPER SHOT! up to GODLIKE!!!!!!!!, and chain reactions, multi-kills and ring-outs replay automatically after each round.

Kart

Three tracks with starting boosts and drift boosts. Carry two of ten items, including grenades, BOMBs, bananas, a magnet and a ghost.

Sports

Football, basketball, ice hockey, beach volleyball and speed skating, with grenades still flying in. Getting caught in a blast sends you flying instead of knocking you out.

Obstacle Run

A 250 m course made of seven sections that get shuffled every round, with bombs raining down near the end. Fall into the water and you restart from the last checkpoint.

Animal friends

Pick your favorite from a whole bunch of animal friends. The first time you play, an animal friend walks you through the basics, and you can put up to eight emotes on your emote wheel.

Play together

• Online matches for up to 8 players. Jump into a Quick Game, or create a room and send your friends the invite code.
  
• Free for all or teams, 1 to 5 rounds. The host picks the event and map for each round.
  
• Fill empty seats with bots on Easy, Normal or Hard.
  
• Keyboard and mouse or controller.
