About This Game

Dear Pigeon is a game about writing letters to strangers. You keep it at the edge of your screen while you work. Now and then a pigeon brings you a letter. It comes from another player somewhere in the world. Nobody knows who wrote it. Read it when you have a minute. Write back if you want to.

Customize your letters

Pick a paper and a frame. Choose a font for your words. Drag stickers onto the sheet and close the envelope with a seal. New papers, frames and stickers come in with the post.

Hatch eggs and welcome new pigeons

Put one in the nest and it hatches in its own time. Every reaction to one of your letters warms it a little. A warm egg hatches sooner.

Real pigeons, from every continent

Rock Doves, a Snow Pigeon out of the Himalayas, a Kereru, a Namaqua Dove, a Bleeding-heart. Every one of them a species that exists, with her own fact page in the field guide.

Build Your Own Flock of Pigeons

Every hatched egg is a new pigeon for your loft. Give her a name and put a hat on her. Then send her out with your next letter.
