Medieval Shepherd is a discipline and survival-oriented shepherding simulation set in the harsh conditions of the Middle Ages. Behind the seemingly peaceful pastures lie dangers ready to strike at any moment. To survive, you must establish perfect coordination with your dog and protect your flock against both the wild nature and greedy bandits.

TACTICAL MANAGEMENT AND COMMAND SYSTEM

Your loyal companion is your greatest helper in managing the flock. Using an advanced command system, you can give your dog these critical orders:

• Herd: Guide the flock safely to designated pastures.

• Come & Follow: Keep your helper by your side in transition zones or in times of danger.

• Wait: Create a security perimeter around the flock by placing your dog at strategic points.

SURVIVAL AND DEFENSE

When wolves howl or bandits set their sights on the flock, you must personally ensure their safety.

• Active Combat: Defend your flock alongside your dog using period weapons like the bow.

• Realistic Threats: You must protect your flock not only from wild wolf packs but also from organized bandit groups aiming to steal your livelihood.

REALISTIC MEDIEVAL ECONOMY

Navigating through menus is not enough to trade; you must take your goods and physically go to the marketplace.

• Physical Market & Merchants: Go to the market area to sell meat, milk, and the dairy products you produce from your flock to manage your own provisions. Each merchant in the region demands different types of products; to keep your economy afloat, you must match your goods with the right seller.

Surviving in the wild requires making the best use of the resources you gather.

• Resource Processing: With the basic crafting system, you can process the hides of hunted animals and maintain your stamina by cooking food over a campfire.
