Alone in the City

You leave your hometown behind and arrive in an unfamiliar city with little money in your pocket and burdens that still follow you from home.

There is no job waiting for you.
No room to call your own.
Everything has to start from scratch.

No Place in the City is an urban life simulation game about making a living and slowly finding your place in the city.

Make It Through, One Day at a Time

Look for work, starting with simple labor jobs and gradually gaining access to new opportunities as your life becomes more stable.

Each job has its own gameplay and rhythm. The money you earn goes toward very ordinary needs: food, rent, and the many expenses that come with everyday life.

But money is not the only thing you need to manage.

Hunger, fatigue, hygiene, mood, and stamina can all affect how your day unfolds. Working longer may earn you more, but sometimes getting enough rest matters just as much.

A City With a Life of Its Own

Walk through crowded markets, narrow streets, parks, working-class neighborhoods, and different parts of the city that change throughout the day.

People head to work. Shops open and close. Night markets come alive after sunset.

The city is more than a place to travel between objectives — it is a world you are learning to live in.

Everyone Has Their Own Story

Along the way, you will meet people who are struggling with life in their own ways.

Some stories last only a day.
Some have been unfolding for years.
And some choices do not have a simple right or wrong answer.

Sometimes, you may be able to help someone.

Other times, you may not even have enough to help yourself.

One Day at a Time

You did not come to the city to become a hero.

You are simply trying to earn enough money, find a place to sleep, take care of the people who matter to you, and hope that tomorrow will be a little better than today.

Starting with almost nothing, every job, every bit of money earned, and every decision you make gradually becomes part of your own story.
