About This Game

Welcome aboard. Who will you trust?

In Deadwaters, 4–16 players board the same ship with hidden roles and different goals. Compare stories, piece together what happened overnight, and convince the crew to follow your lead. One accusation can turn the whole ship against someone.

Play your side

• Crew: Make sense of your role's information, expose the Cartel, and help the crew vote for the right suspect.
  
• Cartel: Blend in, redirect suspicion, and plan your nighttime actions. What you say by day can cover your tracks after dark.
  
• Neutral: Pursue your role's own victory condition. The crew's arguments may create just the opening you need.

Make your case by day

Who saw what? Whose story has changed? Listen to other players, ask questions, and defend yourself. When the vote comes, timing can matter as much as the information you share.

Who will you call tonight?

Choose your role action and call another player at night. Build an alliance, ask for information, or put their story to the test. With listening roles aboard, a conversation you thought was private may reach other ears.

Choose your skin tone, hair, and outfits, then step aboard with your own look. Convincing the crew is still up to you.
