About This Game

Ghost of a Tale 2 is an action-adventure game with elements of stealth, and a sequel to the award-winning first game.  It is set in a medieval world of talking animals, and takes its inspiration from games like Gothic and movies like Disney's Robin Hood.

This new adventure occurs a month after the events concluding the first game. It takes place in Port Scarn, a harbour city under curfew, on the eastern shore of lake Vaelia.

You play as Fatale, a thieving mouse who, along with her brother Gusto, will become embroiled in far-reaching events as the tale of a certain lute-carrying minstrel spreads throughout Muridea.

Fatale can use her nimbleness to explore the city and her sneakiness to evade enemies far larger and stronger than her.  Talk to the characters you meet and use your wits to win them over. Use the undershine  -the clandestine tool of thieves- to reveal secrets and solve mysteries throughout the city.

Her ouma taught Fatale of the supernatural, granting her the ability to communicate with the spirits and experience visions of the past. She can also use her fate cards to reveal (or influence?) the future of those she encounters.

Her brother Gusto cares about none of this. He dreams only of a life of petty larceny and infamy. At the confluence of their ambitions they're going to get more than they bargained for...
