About the Game

The War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression is a memory etched deep into the soul of the Chinese nation. This time, from the first-person perspective of an ordinary individual — you — we look back on that era marked by both humiliation and resistance, confronting the brutality of war and the complexity of human nature. No choice is absolutely right or wrong; there are only consequences that you must bear.

In the war for our homeland, the hardest battle is to figure out who you truly are.

China, 1940. Three years after the fall of Nanjing, flames of war lit by invaders rage across North China. You collapse by a riverbank, bleeding heavily, your mind hazy and your memory wiped clean. When you wake again, you clutch a parcel containing: a gun, a letter, and an old magazine titled A Glimmer. The letter orders you to assassinate a traitorous warlord, while the magazine serves as your identity credential.

There is only one problem — you have no idea who you are.

A name can be a weapon. A name can also be a grave.
