You found a level. An endless train, and something's wrong...

CARRIAGES is a first-person horror exploration game set in the Backrooms, where you find yourself aboard a train with no beginning and no end. You traverse through procedurally generated carriages, each one different, each one hiding something that shouldn't be there.

Document anomalies with your camera as you go, building a journal of everything you've found—and anything that's found you. With 100 anomalies to discover, some carriages feel almost normal, and others don't. Some carriages you feel like you recognise something, but it seems a little off.

There's no clear way out. Just further in.

FEATURES

• Infinite Procedural Carriages — No two journeys are the same. Utilising procedural generation, the trains run endlessly, and each carriage rolls a seed, allowing for each carriage to randomly pull from a pool of layouts, objects, and anomalies.

• 100 Anomalies to Discover — Track down every anomaly hidden across the carriages. Some obvious, some you'll walk right past, some that will seek you out, and some that will do everything to stay hidden.

• Capture the Unknown — Your camera is your only proof that you saw what you saw. Photograph anomalies and entities to build a growing journal—though not everything holds still long enough to be caught.

• Entities That Notice You — Some things move only when you're not looking. Others just resemble something that shouldn't move at all. You won't always know which is which.

• Atmospheric Liminal Horror — Some carriages can barely be considered carriages at all. It's almost as if train itself forgets what it's supposed to be.

CARRIAGES is a psychological horror game exploring an unsettling, liminal train environment. There is no combat system — the player is largely defenceless against hostile entities and can be attacked and killed as a result. The game features frequent frightening and tense scenes and unsettling entity designs intended to disturb rather than depict graphic violence. Character death is always experienced from a first-person perspective; the player does not see their character's body or death depicted on screen. There is no blood, gore, nudity, sexual content, or drug use.
