About This Game

Trust Me, It Binds is an AI-driven Drug-Design Startup simulator about making molecules look impressive enough to fund. Build a deck of reaction cards, modify real chemical structures, stack increasingly questionable superstitions, and turn every new molecule into a better number.

  • The chemistry is real. The valuation is aspirational.

Every run begins with a real, drug-like molecule generated by an AI model running locally on your device.

From there, your cards perform actual chemical modifications: changing atoms, fragments, functional groups, and ultimately the properties of the molecule itself.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW CHEMISTRY. NEITHER DO THE INVESTORS.

Your score comes from two things:

  • The Numbers
    Each molecule has a profile you can push, bend, and optimise through chemical modifications.

  • The Superstitions
    Build ridiculous multiplier engines around molecular features, lucky coincidences, solvent preferences, structural obsessions, and whatever else your investors have decided constitutes scientific excellence this quarter.

With 36 core Superstitions, the same molecule can become the foundation of wildly different builds.

A questionable molecule with the right superstition stack can be worth far more than a sensible one.

Powered by real Molecule Generation AI

The molecules in Trust Me, It Binds are not decorative props.

They are generated using a real machine-learning model for 3D molecular generation, running directly on your computer while you play — based on the same family of methods used in real AI-driven molecular and drug-design research.

The result is an effectively endless supply of drug-like structures to modify, optimise, ruin, rescue, and present confidently to people with money. Some of the molecules you create may never have existed before. That does not necessarily make them good molecules. It does, however, make for an excellent slide deck.

The game uses generative AI to create molecular structures during gameplay. Molecules are procedurally generated by a generative AI model embedded locally within the game and operating as part of the game’s molecular design system.

The in-game generative AI system is used exclusively for molecular structure generation and does not generate dialogue, artwork, music, or other narrative content during gameplay.

During development, generative AI tools were used to assist with artwork preparation, text polishing, and UI code development.
