END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
Trust Me, It Binds
Last updated: 2026-08-26
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a contract between you and the
publisher of Trust Me, It Binds ("Licensor") for the video game Trust Me, It
Binds (the "Game"), including updates and related content distributed through
Steam or other authorized channels.
Purchase, refunds, Steam Cloud, and use of the Steam client are also governed
by Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement where you obtained the Game through
Steam. If this EULA and the Steam Subscriber Agreement conflict on Steam-
specific matters (payment, refunds, Steam account), the Steam Subscriber
Agreement controls.
1. License, not sale
Subject to this EULA, Licensor grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive,
non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the Game on devices
associated with your account, for personal, non-commercial entertainment only.
You do not own the Game. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by
Licensor.
2. Restrictions
You may not, except as allowed by mandatory law or Sections 3 and 5:
(a) copy, sell, rent, or sublicense the Game, or publicly perform it except
as streaming or sharing play under Section 5;
(b) reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent technical protection, except to
the extent this restriction is prohibited by law or required to exercise
rights in open-source components;
(c) remove copyright, trademark, or license notices;
(d) use the Game or its chemistry or machine-learning features to provide a
competing commercial service, or to extract model weights, boot packs,
or other bundled data except as needed to play;
(e) cheat, automate play, or interfere with leaderboards, achievements, or
other players' saves.
3. Open-source and third-party materials
The Game includes third-party software and fonts licensed under their own terms.
Those licenses are in the Game’s licenses folder (THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt and related files).
This EULA does not limit any rights you have under those licenses.
See THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt in the Game Files.
4. Embedded trained model weights (gameplay use)
The Game ships with trained model weights used for offline molecule
generation during play.
Licensor (and the trained model weights authors where applicable) grant you the right to use
those weights solely as embedded in the Game, only while playing the Game for
personal entertainment. You may not extract, copy, redistribute, sublicense,
publish, or use the weights outside the Game, train derivative models from
them, or use them in another product or service.
This grant is for gameplay inside the shipped Game. It does not transfer
ownership of the weights and does not grant any right to use the weights
independently of the Game.
5. Generated content, screenshots, and streaming
Molecules and other output created while you play are generated for gameplay.
Generated molecules are used solely as elements of the Game's molecular-design
mechanics and are not represented as novel, patentable, free from third-party
patent rights, or suitable for real-world manufacture or use.
You may capture, upload, and monetize screenshots, video, livestreams, and
similar content featuring your play (for example on YouTube, Twitch, or other
platforms), including with ads, subscriptions, tips, or sponsorships, for
commentary, review, entertainment, or educational use.
You may not claim Licensor's trademarks, art, story, or the Game itself as
your own; sell or redistribute copies of the Game or its assets; or present
your channel or monetization as an official Licensor product. Monetized
streaming does not make your play a "commercial use" that violates Section 1.
Save data may be stored locally and, in the Steam edition, synced via Steam
Cloud as described in the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
6. User-shared content
If you voluntarily share footage, clips, or feedback about the Game, you grant
Licensor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that material
for marketing the Game. You retain ownership of your own commentary.
7. Updates
Licensor may patch, add, or disable features. Continued play after an update
that presents a new EULA constitutes acceptance of that EULA.
8. Disclaimer of warranty
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LICENSOR
DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Chemistry in the Game
is fictionalized entertainment and is not scientific, medical, or regulatory
advice. Generated molecules are subject to Section 5.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LICENSOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA,
PROFITS, OR GOODWILL. LICENSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM
THE GAME SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE GAME (EXCLUDING REFUNDED
AMOUNTS). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS; IN THAT CASE THEY APPLY
ONLY TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED.
10. Termination
This license ends if you breach it or if your license to the Game ends. On
termination you must stop playing and delete local copies, except as your
platform still permits.
11. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws applicable to Licensor's place of business,
excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer law of your country of
residence cannot be waived.
12. Contact
For licensing and legal inquiries, contact the publisher listed on the Steam
store page for Trust Me, It Binds.
