ARCHEIO: Night Shift

A 29 year old delivery rider picks up the last order of the shift from the shop he works at, working nights to support his new family. The rain won't let up, and when he reaches the apartment building, the elevator is out of service, again, and the stairwell lights flicker with every step up. He tells himself it's just a bad elevator and bad luck. Somewhere between the third floor and the door, he stops believing that. He makes it out that night. What he does next is the reason this case exists at all: he tells someone. What you're about to live through is what he told them.

The Gameplay

Night Shift is primarily a first-person walking simulator with narrative mechanics for exploration, environmental interaction, and conversation. The choices you make during the shift determine what you see, what you learn, and how the case is ultimately closed.
