What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We've reached a point where I see real potential in the project. I want to add more content, such as new waifus, progression systems like unlocking battlefields and skins, and new game modes, making the game truly varied. For all of this to work well, I believe community feedback is essential. That's why I think launching in Early Access is the best way forward!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Roughly 1 year. Since I'm a solo developer who also works a full time job, updates naturally take longer. The goal is to leave Early Access once the game has enough content to be worth what players paid for it.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The idea is to have a large variety of waifus. I believe at least 15 would make the game varied and fun. Whenever a new waifu is released, the goal is to bring a new battlefield and a new music track along with her. Progression systems such as unlocking battlefields and skins are also planned, as well as new game modes and improvements to the existing ones.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version offers over 2 hours of content: 8 waifus, 3 battlefields, 4 campaigns and 6 game modes.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. As a way of thanking those who believe in the project early on, the price during Early Access will be lower. When the game leaves Early Access, I plan a small price increase, reflecting all the content added by then. Even so, I want the game to remain affordable for everyone.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Constantly! The project only reached its current level of quality thanks to player feedback. I'll use Steam itself and the game's subreddit as channels to talk with players.”

About This Game

Build a team of cute waifus, put them exactly where you want, and then let them fight. You don't control a single thing once the battle starts, so a win means your setup was right, but a loss means you get to stare at the wreckage and figure out why.

Modes

  • Campaign - Handcrafted fights that get harder as you go. Clear the section guarding a locked waifu and she joins your roster for every other mode.

  • Ladder - Best of 5 series for points. Win to climb the Steam leaderboard. The higher you climb, the tougher the opponent!

  • Arena - A 10 match roguelite run. Draft a starting five, grow your roster after every match, and chase a spot on the leaderboard. You get one retry per match: gamble a small win for a bigger score, but a loss wipes it out.

  • Versus - Online 1v1 against a friend. Both of you place in secret, then watch the same battle play out. Play casual or go competitive in a best of 5 where the winner has to defend a revealed formation.

  • Sandbox - No rules, no limits. Build any formation, test any matchup and export it as a code.

  • Challenges - Take on a generated enemy formation, or paste a friend's code and try to beat it more efficiently than they did.

Every waifu fights differently

The same team in the same spots can win or lose on one call: how each waifu plays. All seven bring their own stats, a signature skill (area bursts, stuns, dashes, piercing shots), and a set of playstyles. Tell one to hold the line, kite at range, or dive straight for the back row.
