About This Game

DRIVE EVERYWHERE

CLINK is a red versus blue vehicle combat game set on a single continuous driving surface. The floor, walls, and ceiling are interconnected, allowing you to drive straight up a wall, continue onto the ceiling, and fight upside down. Everyone uses the same surfaces, so opponents can approach from the front, behind, or above.

Your grip keeps you attached to the arena. A Rammer can break it with a boost charge, while a Minelayer can blast you off a surface with a mine. If you lose your grip, you will fall, and the same happens to your wrecked vehicle.

SIX CLASSES

  • Tank — A balanced all-rounder with an aiming turret and no real weaknesses.

  • Sniper — Slow and fragile, it deals high damage at long range, has a zoom scope, and fires flat shots with little bullet drop.

  • Bruiser — The toughest class, it carries a short-range shotgun that is devastating up close and weak at a distance.

  • Kart — Fast and fragile, it has rapid-fire guns fixed forward and uses car-style steering.

  • Minelayer — Carries no gun and deals damage with proximity mines that stick to floors, walls, and ceilings.

  • Rammer — Carries no gun and attacks using a short boost charge that causes heavy contact damage.

The classes counter each other. Snipers punish players caught in the open. Karts and Rammers can get inside their range. Minelayers and Rammers can punish fast flankers.

USE THE ARENA

Mines can be destroyed by gunfire. Shoot an enemy mine to clear a path, or shoot your own mine when an opponent is nearby.

Arenas contain bounce pads, boost pads, conveyors, breakable cover, moving platforms, and hazards. A bounce pad can launch you from the floor to the ceiling or from one wall to another. A conveyor can carry you upside down along the ceiling. Breakable cover can create new routes during a match.

Some arenas are structures drifting in open space. You can drive around their outside, over the top, along the sides, and underneath, with a starfield extending beyond the edge. Weapons fire perfectly flat at any range. A Rammer can launch you far away from the structure. You have about five seconds to get back or you will die.

PLAY YOUR WAY

Team Deathmatch, Free-for-all, and Four-team cover the standard fights. Surface Paint uses the arena itself as the scoreboard. Floor Is Lava floods the floor, forcing everyone to climb onto the walls. Invasion is a cooperative survival mode against alien waves that crawl on the walls and ceilings. In WYRM, one player becomes a growing snake of tank segments that wraps across every surface and kills on contact. King of the Hill, Gun Game, Infection, and Racing complete the list.

Bots drive every class and use every surface, so they never sit idle on the floor. Difficulty ranges from an easy warm-up to a level that can defeat you. The entire game can be played offline against bots.

You can play through single-player story missions, practice against target dummies and spawnable bots, or take it online. A one-click scan finds LAN games on your network, and local splitscreen works in any mode on a single screen.

BUILD AND SHARE

A variety of hand-built arenas range from tight duel boxes to open fields and drifting wrecks. The built-in map editor allows you to create an arena and play it immediately, then share it through Steam Workshop.

You can design your own emblem, and it will appear on your vehicle for everyone online to see.
