About This Game

  • Hyakki Dice  is a yokai-themed dice-building roguelite built around the core mechanics of Farkle. You’re not just waiting for a lucky roll — recruit Shikigami, actively use Offerings, stack Blessings, and upgrade Talismans to reshape the value of every roll and every decision. Build your own path to victory between knowing when to bank your score and when to risk one more roll.

  • Roll scoring combinations, keep the dice you want, then make your choice: bank your score now, or roll the remaining dice and push for an even bigger payoff?

  • Every extra roll could trigger Hot Dice, returning all six dice to your hand — or end in a Farkle, wiping out all unbanked points from the current turn. Which dice to keep, when to keep rolling, and when to cash out form the core risk-reward decisions of every table.

  • Deploy up to  6 Shikigami  at once. Each has its own skill, interacting with different parts of the game such as rolling, keeping dice, banking points, earning coins, using Offerings, and dealing with table rules.

  • The exact same roll can have completely different value depending on your Shikigami lineup. Choosing who to deploy, which trigger conditions to build around, and how their abilities fit into your overall strategy are all decisions you control.

  • The Shikigami draw inspiration from Japanese and Chinese yokai and folklore, reimagined in a cute and lighthearted style. They are not merely collectibles — they are active pieces of every build.

  • Every run is built around four interconnected systems:

    • 62 Shikigami: The core abilities of your build. Their skills can change how you roll, score, manage resources, and use Offerings.

    • 12 Offerings: One-use items that you activate manually to escape dangerous situations, manipulate the current roll, or push your build in the direction you want.

    • 28 Blessings: Global passive effects that last for the rest of the run, influencing shops, capacity, coins, and overall resource efficiency.

    • 4 Talisman types: Upgrade single 1s, single 5s, straights, or of-a-kind combinations, with each Talisman able to reach Lv.10 during a run.

These are not four isolated collections. Shikigami can build synergies around Offerings, Blessings reshape your economy and growth, while Talismans turn your preferred scoring patterns into reliable scoring engines.

Coins, slots, and shop refreshes are always limited. Every purchase in the Hyakki Shop pushes your build toward a different direction.

  • A full run spans 6 rounds and 18 tables. As you progress, target scores continue to rise, while key tables introduce additional restrictions that alter your available turns, scoring combinations, rolling options, and resource usage.

  • A strategy that carried you through earlier tables may not work forever. New table rules force you to reconsider which Shikigami are still effective, which scoring routes are worth pursuing, and how your current build needs to adapt.

No build can guarantee victory in advance, and no roll has only one correct answer.

Open the doors of the Hyakki Shop and invite your Shikigami to the table. Before the dice settle, you’ll always have one more decision to make:bank it, or roll again?
