Welcome, fish keepers, to Fish Tankfully! This is a desktop idle aquarium simulation game that balances laid-back, relaxing idle viewing with a realistic and meticulous tank ecosystem. Whether you're a fishkeeping enthusiast, an office worker sneaking in some downtime, or even a hardcore aquarist, Fish Tankfully is just the perfect tank to give you a cozy, easygoing escape.
A Rich Ecosystem!

200 species of ornamental fish, over a hundred varieties of aquatic plants and driftwood, dozens of pieces of equipment and gear, and more than a dozen tank styles — all within your very own tank! Players are free to plan and cultivate their aquarium however they please — from native local fish to South American tropicals, from planted nano tanks to native biotope streams. In real life you have to choose; in cyber fishkeeping, I want it all!
A True Fish Nerd's Paradise!

A faithful simulation of a real aquarium environment — from lighting to filtration, from stocking density to carbon and oxygen levels, from fish compatibility to wild catching — every aspect of fishkeeping is authentically recreated here. But newcomers needn't feel any pressure at all — as the saying goes, every water suits its own fish. A relaxed, easygoing experience is the principle Fish Tankfully sticks to. Every fish nerd will find themselves smiling knowingly and happily watching their fish here.
Built on Love!

Our dev team is a mix of industry veterans from big studios and fresh-faced new grads. Some of us grew tired of the flashiness of commercial games, some grew tired of elevator commutes and PowerPoint presentations, and some grew tired of trading 996 for a year-end bonus. So we pitched a project here, and set up three fish tanks. Making games while keeping fish, we became true fishkeepers — and untethered game makers. What we wanted turned into a little patch of freedom, a tankful of happy water. In this tank there's no scheming, no microtransactions, no traps — there's the rough-and-tumble authenticity of a wild-caught biotope tank, the shimmering delicacy of a nano planted tank, and tank after tank of boundless love for games.

    • Additional Notes: A 64-bit operating system is required. The minimum specifications target 1080p, around 30 fps, at low-to-medium graphics settings. For Wallpaper mode, it is recommended to disable some visual effects or use Windowed mode. A dedicated graphics card is required; integrated graphics may not provide stable performance. An internet connection is required on first launch to synchronize the time.
