About This Game

Sans Issue is a 2D game mixing chess and card-deck building games, where you build decks and use cards to have an advantage over an opponent. 

At the beginning of each game, you start with a king, three pawns, and three cards. These cards can be played by using tokens, which are earned every turn (you also get a bonus token if you capture a piece). There is a wide variety of cards to play - you can summon other chess pieces, transport your pieces around the map, and even throw bombs onto empty spaces. 

In Sans Issue, the game ends not when you checkmate someone, but when you capture their king. There are many sneaky moves to take out an enemy’s king - you won’t always be told that you’re potentially in check! If you are checkmated, and you can’t play a card to save yourself, a timer will start playing, forcing you to make a move and abandon your king. Sans Issue - no way out.

Earn new cards via the campaign, create custom decks using the deckbuilder, and play against your friends both locally and over Steam.
