You wake up alone in a dark, abandoned hospital. You don't know what happened—but you know you need to get out.

Appointment is a first-person survival horror game focused on exploration, puzzle-solving, stealth, and survival. Search the hospital for anything that can help you escape, uncover the way forward, and stay out of sight of the relentless doctor roaming its halls.

FIND A WAY OUT

The hospital is locked down, and escaping won't be as simple as finding a key.

Explore its dark rooms and corridors, search for useful items, and solve interconnected puzzles to unlock new areas and make progress toward your escape.

Restore electrical systems, operate abandoned machinery, discover combinations, manipulate mechanisms, and figure out how the different parts of the hospital connect. An item that seems useless now may become essential later.

Pay attention to your surroundings. The hospital won't always tell you what to do next.

SOMETHING IS HUNTING YOU

You are not alone.

A deranged doctor patrols the hospital, and if he finds you, he will hunt you down.

Stay out of his sight, use the environment for cover, and hide inside lockers when you have nowhere else to go. Knowing when to move—and when to remain completely still—can mean the difference between continuing your escape and becoming another victim of the hospital.

HE CAN HEAR YOU

Running blindly through the hospital can expose your position.

The doctor can react to the sound of your footsteps, forcing you to think carefully about how you move through dangerous areas. Sometimes reaching your destination quickly is worth the risk. Sometimes staying quiet is the only way forward.

YOUR FLASHLIGHT CAN BETRAY YOU

The hospital is dark, making your flashlight one of your most important tools.

But light comes with a risk.

Shining your flashlight where the doctor can notice it may reveal your presence. You'll have to decide when you need the light to search your surroundings and when darkness is the safer option.

Your escape requires more than hiding.

Search the hospital for keys, tools, fuel, fuses, codes, and other essential items. Restore systems, solve environmental puzzles, break through obstacles, and gradually unlock the path to freedom.

Every solved puzzle brings you closer to the exit—but continuing deeper into the hospital may also bring you closer to the thing hunting you.
