About This Game

Quarterheart is a cozy arcade roguelite about an old machine in the attic that still works — and slowly becomes yours.

Drop in a quarter, fight the little monsters on its screen, and win a sticker for every new one you beat. Your goal is simple: cover the whole machine in your victories.

Drop a Coin

A run lasts 2–4 minutes, win or lose: a string of quick fights, a new upgrade after each one, and a boss at the end. Losing barely stings — and there's always another coin.

Fight Its Monsters

The basics are simple: aim at a moving monster and click true. Then each monster adds its own twist — one races and won't hold still, one splits into a swarm, one only takes full damage when you hit its timing ring, one drums out a beat your clicks should match, and one winds up a big counterattack you can parry by clicking at just the right moment. Eight monsters, eight twists to learn.

Build Your Run

After every win, pick one of three upgrades and stack them: sharper crits, wider timing windows, safer parries, heavier charged hits. Sixty in the pool. Beat the boss and the machine opens its next level — six in all, each with new monsters and a meaner boss.

Cover the Cabinet

Every first kill drops a sealed sticker pack into the tray. Peel it open and stick it on the cabinet, over the last owner's faded notes.

Where you stick it decides what it does. Each sticker upgrades or unlocks something different depending on where it lands, so two players with the same stickers end up with different machines. Forty-eight to collect — every level's version of every monster — and sometimes one prints with a shiny foil finish that makes its upgrades stronger.

You're building the machine on the outside.

The Longer You Play…

…the more the machine changes: the light of its screen, the sound of its jingle, the notes the last owner left behind. Quietly. You'll want to see it for yourself.

FEATURES

  • 48 stickers, and where you stick each one on the cabinet decides what it upgrades or unlocks

  • 8 monsters, each demanding a different attack style; 6 levels, each with its own boss

  • 60 upgrades, one of three offered after every win

  • Aim-and-timing combat: moving targets, timing rings, rhythm beats, charges and parries

  • 2–4 minute runs, win or lose

  • Short and complete: no Early Access, no live service, finishable in a few evenings

  • No gambling and no real money, ever — the coin is a prop, and the machine only pays out in stickers

Feed it a quarter. Win your stickers. Make it yours.
