About This Game

Definitely Not A Chameleon is a chaotic multiplayer hide-and-seek party game for up to 10 players.

Sneaky Chameleons use color absorption, shape shifting, ridiculous movement, and the environment to disappear in plain sight while hungry Snakes search the map and hunt them down.

Play with one Snake against nine Chameleons, stack the odds with multiple Snakes, or mix the roles however your group wants.

Hide/Flee Like a Chameleon

Blend into the world and try very hard to look like you belong there.

• Absorb colors from nearby surfaces to match your surroundings.

• Shape-shift into simple Shapes and hide in plain sight.

• Crawl across walls and ceilings to reach ridiculous hiding spots.

• Use your tongue to swing and escape.

• Stay completely still and close your eyes to make your disguise much harder to spot.

• Use the environment, movement, and timing to stay one step ahead of the Snakes.

Hunt/Move Like a Snake

The Chameleons are hiding somewhere. Probably.

Track them down, chase them out of hiding, and make sure nothing suspicious gets away.

• Search oversized environments for anything that looks out of place.

• Listen for directional audio and other clues that can reveal hidden Chameleons.

• Use your whip-like tail to stun fleeing Chameleons from a distance.

• Chase down stunned Chameleons before they recover.

• Eat stunned Chameleons and keep hunting until the round is over.

Chaotic 10-Player Multiplayer

Every round is a mix of ridiculous hiding spots, desperate escapes, close calls, suspicious objects, and players accusing perfectly normal objects of being a Chameleon.

With up to 10 players and flexible role combinations, matches can range from one Snake hunting a crowd of Chameleons to multiple Snakes turning the whole map into a frantic chase.

Whether you’re clinging to the ceiling, pretending to be an innocent object, swinging away at the last second, or chasing something that definitely had eyes, Definitely Not A Chameleon is built around goofy movement, physics-driven moments, and multiplayer chaos.
