About This Game

Dungeon Miner is a co-op mining horror game about gathering ore and the nerve-wracking job of hauling it back out.

You and your crew gear up aboard your ship and descend into procedurally generated, uncharted mine shafts. Small tools stay on your body, but the massive ore you dig out is a physical object — it doesn't fit in any inventory.

Pick ore up, carry it in your arms, set it down, throw it. The moment you wrap both arms around a huge crystal, you are completely defenseless. When something closes in through the dark, the crystal in your arms is both a precious resource and a deadly burden. Sometimes the only way to survive is to throw it as bait.

No damage numbers, no health bar. Any creature's attack kills you the instant it lands. In exchange, every threat gives a clear warning first — a sound, a glow, a movement. Recovering the ore and gear a fallen teammate dropped, and bringing it home, is up to the survivors.

The cart is not a magic container; it's a physical handcart you actually stack things on. Haul it in a hurry and your precious ore spills out — so crews naturally split into miners, haulers, and escorts.
Flashlights and torches push back the dark, but batteries are limited, and light provokes the things living down there. Moths snuff out your flames, while camel crickets and mantises spot you from much farther away when you're lit up.

Once you've secured enough ore, recover the Dungeon Core at the deepest point. The moment you do, the mine begins to collapse and a three-minute timer starts. Every creature hiding in the dark goes berserk at once and comes hunting. Abandon the cart and run for your life, or risk it all to save your haul? Your team's survival rides on that choice.

Man-made, right-angled tunnel networks and organic natural caves connect at random every run, forming tight, tangled mazes. Six creatures lurk in that darkness with patterns you can't predict:

  • Spiders that seal off corridors with their bulk and their webs
  • Moths that put out your lights
  • Cockroaches that rush you from the dark
  • Camel crickets that leap huge distances
  • Mantises that fly in from afar
  • The giant centipede at the very bottom

Your base is a ship docked deep inside a tunnel bored into the earth. Choose the next mine to enter at the CRT terminal and trade the money you've cashed in for gear. Tunnel through the deep shafts alone, or take on a mining run with a crew of up to four, with your lives on the line.
