About This Game

Every expedition into Dungeons & Death is a dangerous story of branching

routes, desperate fights and mortal heroes. Enter alone or assemble up to four

adventurers, then choose your path through changing objectives, events,

elites, treasure and bespoke bosses.

Choose the armored Warrior, arcane Wizard, agile Rogue or relentless

Monk. Chain light and running attacks, charge heavy blows, block, parry,

grapple and launch enemies into the environment. Build a class skill tree as

you descend, then combine status effects and timing to uncover powerful combo

and super-combo interactions.

One more player can take the Director seat. The Director spends a limited

budget on reinforcements, traps, possession, events and dangerous bargains,

building through the Tyrant, Trickster or Tempter power branches. At the right

moment, the Director can enter the dungeon as the Black Knight - a temporary

playable rival with a full combat kit. If the party survives to the final

human-Director showdown, the Black Knight can be waiting again.

Back at the tavern, manage equipment, discoveries, challenges, Contracts and

a persistent roster. Victories become history. Death does too: fallen heroes

are remembered in the Hall of the Fallen, and the next adventurer must carry

on without them.

Development used generative tools to assist with pre-generated pixel-art characters, environments, UI, effects and reference images (PixelLab and OpenAI image generation); pre-generated sound effects and voices (ElevenLabs); pre-generated music (Stable Audio); and portions of game code, tests and documentation (OpenAI Codex, Claude Code). Outputs were selected, edited, integrated and tested by the developer. The shipped game does not generate AI content at runtime and does not send player prompts to an AI service.
