About This Game

Packpunk is an asynchronous PvP auto-battler. You pack a grid of gear onto your rig and watch the run play out on its own.

Nobody is waiting on the other end, so there's no queue and no session to sit through. Opponents are real players' rigs, read off a Steam leaderboard and rebuilt on your machine; when there's no rig to pull, one is composed to match yours instead. Every item on the shelf is rolled fresh, so a run starts whenever you want one.

A run takes about a minute and you don't drive it. Items fire on their own timers, heat builds while they do, statuses stack, and items sitting next to each other work better than they would apart. Partway through, a flux window changes one rule of the run for a stretch, and every build has a window that's good to it.

KEY FEATURES

• Asynchronous PvP. Your rig goes on the leaderboard, other people's rigs come back, and neither of you has to be online at the same time.

• Tile bags together to shape your socket space, then pack it with the gear you've got.

• Items are rolled, not authored. A base object plus affixes like Rot, Glitch, Freeze and Mend.

• Where an item sits matters. Neighbours work on each other, so packing isn't just filling empty sockets.
