About This Game

In That Case... is a first-person psychological horror roguelike about paying off an impossible debt before the ceiling comes down and crushes you.

Trapped in a filthy execution cell, you’re given one way out: open cases, cash in whatever comes out, and keep the money flowing. Pick contracts from a battered CRT terminal, watch the reels spin, and pray the result is worth more than the cost to open it.

Every round played pushes the spike ceiling closer.






Buy drinks from the vending machine for temporary advantages, stack risky multipliers, unlock better cases, take risky loans and decide when to spend your money on pushing the ceiling back up instead of running for your life.

Pay off your debt if you can but the next contract is always bigger, meaner, and harder to escape.

Survive to the sound of home-brewed hard techno that intensifies as the ceiling closes in.
