About This Game

You are Green. They are Tan.

Green vs Tan is tower defense fought with the plastic army men that used to live under the couch. A hundred to a bag. Stiff little soldiers on molded bases. You drag your troops onto the carpet, hold the line, and keep them off your toy box.

Every Toy Is a Unit You Place

Ten kinds of soldiers wait in the bin. The rifleman is your guy: he shoots his rifle and gets the job done. The machine gunner lays down heavy fire but moves like a slug. The minesweeper plants firecracker mines and defuses the enemy's. The bazooka blows up groups of soldiers, boulders, and occasionally himself. Why not? That's just how it is. The mortar sits far back and drops shells that land exactly where you need them, or nowhere close. The flamethrower gets in there and torches everything. The radio man calls in a paratrooper and boosts the troops around him. Discover more kinds of soldiers as you play.

The Carpet Fights Back

Every room is a level and every toy is a hazard. Wrecking balls roll through the alphabet blocks. The train thunders across Western Land without stopping for anyone. A soccer ball bowls through the backyard brawl. Boulders, mines, and the rooftop void all take men off the board, yours and theirs.

Someone Bigger Is Waiting at the Top

King Yeti and his snow army. King Rex and the stegos. The Nemesis and his paratroopers. The redcoats marching in formation. Mom's slippers. Over 100 levels of yetis to fight, dinosaurs to rule, secrets to uncover, and bosses who do not care that you are made of plastic.

Bring Your Buddies

Start a squad. Play real people in Battlefield mode from 1v1 to 10v10, open a private room and pass the invite code around the house, or jump into a co-op campaign and fight the bosses as a team. Beat a level and everyone's campaign moves forward. Prefer to play alone? Play against the CPU, no pressure. Bring the whole friend group, the whole family, or your local army commanders.

An internet connection is required at all times. This is a live game loaded from our servers; there is no offline mode. No ads in the Steam version of Green vs Tan, ever. Mouse and keyboard only for now; there is no controller support.
