Who? is a game of deduction and chaos among friends. Each player uploads any photo from their computer, which is assigned to another participant. Everyone can see the others’ images, but not their own, and asks questions that can only be answered with “yes” or “no” to discover who—or what—they are.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Who? is built around social interaction, online multiplayer, proximity voice chat, and player-uploaded images. Early Access allows us to test the game with real groups of players, improve match flow and usability, identify technical issues, and refine both game modes based on community feedback. Our goal is to make the experience as stable, intuitive, and entertaining as possible before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Who? to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This estimate may change depending on player feedback, testing results, and the amount of refinement required before we consider the game ready for full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is intended to provide a more polished and stable experience, with improved online performance, clearer menus and tutorials, additional built-in gallery content, expanded customization options, balancing adjustments for both game modes, and general quality-of-life improvements. Development priorities may evolve in response to community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the core gameplay experience. Players can create multiplayer matches, upload custom images from their computers, see the images assigned to other participants while their own remains hidden, ask yes-or-no questions, use proximity voice chat, and play Table Mode or Party Mode.

The game is playable, but players may encounter bugs, connection issues, balancing problems, incomplete polish, and changes to features or presentation during development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently plan to keep the same base price during Early Access and after the full release. This plan may be reviewed if the scope or amount of content changes significantly, and any pricing changes will be communicated in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively involve the community throughout Early Access by collecting player feedback through Steam Community discussions and reviews. Feedback will help us identify bugs, improve game balance and usability, refine the existing game modes, and prioritize improvements and new content. We will regularly review community feedback and communicate important changes through Steam announcements and patch notes. Please refer to the other Early Access sections above for more details about our development plans.”

About This Game

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE? EVERYONE DOES... EXCEPT YOU.

Who? is a multiplayer game of deduction, questions, and chaos among friends.
Players can upload any photo they want, which may then be secretly assigned to another player and displayed above their head. Each player must discover which image they received using only questions and the reactions of everyone else.
Ask questions, observe their answers, question every clue, and try to guess your identity before it is too late.

ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

You could be anything: a celebrity, a fictional character, an animal, an object, or even a custom image uploaded by the players.

Ask questions that can be answered with “yes” or “no”:

• Am I a person?

• Do I exist in real life?

• Do I appear in movies?

• Do I have hair?

The better your questions are, the closer you will get to the answer.

TWO GAME MODES

Table Mode

An experience inspired by the classic guessing game. After each question, the other players vote green or red to indicate whether the answer is positive or negative.

Receive a majority of green votes and you will get the chance to ask another question. Keep investigating until you discover who—or what—is above your head.

Party Mode

A faster, more chaotic, and more dangerous version of the game.

When you believe you have discovered your identity, press the central button and say your answer. The other players will decide whether you are correct.

But be careful: a wrong answer may have fatal consequences.

TALK, DECEIVE, AND CONFUSE

With proximity voice chat, conversations happen naturally during each match. Move closer to hear other players clearly, form temporary alliances, share suspicious clues, or simply watch your friends reach the most ridiculous conclusions possible.

CREATE YOUR OWN MATCHES

In addition to the game’s image gallery, players can upload their own images and create custom rounds.

Turn your friends, memes, favorite characters, or any other image into a new identity waiting to be discovered.
