EndStream contains stylized but disturbing depictions of violence, blood, mutilation, death, body horror, and characters being injured or disfigured. It also includes nudity, exposed breasts, sexualized character imagery, and scenes involving physical domination or restraint that may be interpreted as coercive. The game contains themes of war, authoritarianism, psychological manipulation, religious extremism, and loss of identity. It does not depict explicit sexual intercourse. A static character-card illustration depicts a woman urinating on an unwilling man as an act of sexualized humiliation. The scene contains no penetration or visible genitalia.

Over dit spel

EndStream is a 1v1 strategy card game about time-traveling outlaws seeking redemption and AI Gods fighting to control reality. Each player builds a seven-card deck with one AI Controller and six Operators.

Each match is a conflict between two rival Controllers. Destroy the opposing Controller or disintegrate all six enemy Operators to win.

Controllers alter history until competing Streams collapse into one reality they control. Operators serve them in exchange for time travel and another chance to change what haunts them.

Changing history does not change an Operator. They remember lives and worlds erased for everyone else. They can change the past, but not their past.

The board represents two of those competing Streams. Each contains six turnpoints, historical events set one century apart. Every turnpoint provides military, political, or scientific resources. You use those resources to bring Operators into play and pay for their abilities.

There are no fixed phases. You can activate Operators, move through time or cross into the opposing Stream, use abilities, strike enemies, and change agendas in any order. You can undo those actions and test a different sequence before you commit the turn.

There are no random draws or hidden hands. Both players can see the full puzzle from the start. The uncertainty comes from the opponent: where they will move, what they are setting up, and how they will answer your turn. Winning depends on position, timing, and finding the strongest order of actions.

Most abilities can only affect targets at the same turnpoint, so movement determines who can attack whom. Reducing an Operator's defense to zero disables them. To remove them from the game, you must strike them again on your next turn and disintegrate them before they recover.

EndStream began as a physical board game and is now being developed for digital play.
