Shining the Light

Flashlight in hand, you move through a space gone silent.

In this world, the beam is what keeps "something" at bay.

What appears when you shine the light.

What disappears when you shine the light.

And what does not exist unless you do.

As you go deeper, the structure of this world shifts, until it is no longer what it was.

She Is Still, Perfectly Normal.

This is not merely an escape.

And what will you come to know?
