Dead Bet is a card-based roguelite where you predict the outcome of fights—and pull strings to influence them. Our tournaments take place around the world, with different formats and contestants chasing their own desires. Your task is simple: pick the winner.

Oh, one more formality. A wrong prediction can cost a family member their life. We trust you’ve studied the fighters carefully.

Meet the fighters

Strong, young, confident. A wonderful candidate! A shame you haven’t heard about those injuries yet.

Each fighter has a combination of fighting styles, training, personality traits, talents, injuries, and permanent impairments. A seasoned master against a rising talent? A boxer with injured hands against a healthy rookie? You’ll need more than a quick glance at their dossiers.

Uncover hidden information and decide which advantages will actually matter in the ring. Track fighters throughout the tournament as they gain experience, suffer injuries, and enter each bout in a different condition. The further a fighter advances, the more you learn—and the more reasons you have to reconsider your prediction.

We do want an entertaining show. Play cards to strengthen your favorite and undermine their opponent. Need outside help? There are people willing to influence a fight—for a fee.

Choose from 3 families, each with their own abilities and characteristics. Money, power, new sensations—every protagonist has a reason to accept our invitation.

Your loved ones help you through the tournament. But when your prediction is wrong, you decide which family member pays for your mistake. Lose them, and you lose their help, too. If they’re taken hostage, you’ll need to find the money for their ransom. We hope you haven’t spent it all on cards.

Enter tournaments across the globe, with 3 tournament formats and 4 difficulty levels for each. Adapt to the rules, experiment with new decks, and find out how far you’re willing to go.

There’s no limit to the number of tournaments you can play. New fighter lineups and combinations of traits give you a fresh set of odds to assess each time. A familiar strategy may help—but nobody promised you the same winners.
