A real-time lane-pusher auto-battler. Choose what to deploy and where, then let your retro geometric troops take it from there. Spend supply to hold the control points or break the enemy base. Draft a new squad every run in the roguelite campaign, or bring your own to head-to-head and co-op battles.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I'm one person, and Rally Point has a lot of moving parts — ten-card squads drafted from a full library, six chassis with their own Prime ultimates, campaign modifiers that stack, and three ways to play. They multiply against each other faster than one developer can test them. A week of real players will find squads I never would. I've shipped games on much bigger teams, and that's exactly how I know what a team of one can't cover on its own.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About a year is the plan. That's an estimate, not a promise — I'm one person and solo schedules move. What I'll commit to is telling you when it changes instead of letting it quietly slip, and leaving Early Access when the game's earned it rather than when a calendar says so.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The big one is co-op. Right now that means arena battles — two players against the AI, one map at a time. Taking co-op through the campaign is what I most want to solve, and it's also the biggest job on the list, so I'm calling it an intention rather than a promise. Past that I plan to add more chassis and cards, more arenas, and more to run into on a campaign run. What lands first depends on what people actually ask for.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Complete and playable end to end — a finished game I want to widen, not a vertical slice. If I stopped tomorrow you'd still have a whole game. The campaign's in: draft ten cards, cross a galaxy of hour-long runs, spend your hull, and watch survivors specialize and get renamed for it. Six chassis, three card classes, Prime ultimates, 1v1 duels, co-op arena battles and scheduled tournaments are all live. Every arena is hand-built, and the editor I built them with ships in the game. Buy it for what's on this page, not for the answer above.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No — I'm not planning to raise it at full release. The price is set for what the game is today, and everything I add along the way is included: no separate editions, no founder pack, nothing to buy twice. Back it now or grab it at full release — you pay the same and you get the same.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'm on the Steam forums and the Rally Point Discord, and being one person is the advantage — you're talking to the developer, not someone passing messages along. Expect frequent builds and patch notes that explain their reasoning, because you can't give useful feedback on a balance change if you don't know what it was for. Bug reports, squads that feel broken, and 'this run stopped being fun in region three' are exactly what I want.”

About This Game

Long-lost gameplay returns in a stylized retro package. Control the board or destroy your enemy's base to lead your squad to victory — no excessive micro, just deciding who or what you send, and when.

Command your Squad

Units are more than abstract geometric shapes — where they go, when they fight, and what they can do are all part of their kits. Rally your Heroes to control the map, drop massive Mechs to clear the lanes, and call in support to swing a fight: a Gunship to clear a point, a Depot to keep the reinforcements coming, a Nuke to turn the tide.

Roguelite Campaign

Draft your squad, then take on the Galaxy. Pick your fights well, and upgrade your squad or recruit new units along the way. Every run offers a new combination of options and challenges. Defeat the Core, and start something new — or see how far you can go in Endless Mode.

More Ways to Play

Host custom rooms and set your own rules for 1v1 duels and 2v2 co-op, or search for ranked matches and climb the PvP leaderboards. Design your own maps, or drop into scheduled tournaments. Like everything else here, Commander, the choice is yours.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Rally Point's visuals and store art are drawn by code from the game's own geometry. No image, audio, or voice generation model was used. That code was written with AI assistance, as were the non-English translations.

    Recommended:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
