Your grandfather's potion just turned the whole island upside down. Now it's up to you to fix it - before the horror catches up with the humor.

I'm building ScarryLand as a solo developer: a first-person horror comedy puzzle game where every laugh comes with a little dread hiding right behind it.

You play as Dimkalu, a zoo caretaker whose quiet night shift turns into chaos when his mad scientist grandfather's experimental potion goes catastrophically wrong. The island's animals are gone — transformed into humans and scattered across town — while the leftover potion, dumped into the water tank, has started turning people into animals instead.

By your side is Bonky, a wisecracking skeleton companion who insists on calling you "Dad." He's not wrong to — and finding out why is part of the mystery.

Explore a night-only island lit only by moonlight and torchlight, packed with over 20 unique locations to investigate — from an eerie graveyard and abandoned tunnel to a mysterious magician's house, a crumbling old mansion, a working zoo, and more. Every building hides clues, ingredients, and secrets you'll need to craft the cure.

Solve environmental puzzles and hidden object challenges as you gather ingredients scattered across the island. Piece together clues, investigate strange happenings, and slowly uncover what really happened the night the potion went wrong.

The tone starts light — funny, weird, a little chaotic — but don't get too comfortable. As you dig deeper into the island's secrets, ScarryLand shifts from comedy into full horror, and what started as a rescue mission becomes something far more unsettling.
