About This Game

Rex buried your homework.

Your mum left for work, the dog is covered in dirt, and the homework is somewhere down there. Grab a pickaxe and start digging.

The loop

Dig, fill your bag, sell at the house, buy better gear, dig deeper. 19 ores are layered under your backyard, and when digging gets slow you prestige: the world reseeds, your gold and gear are gone, and you spend the points on permanent talents that make every later run faster. A few runs in you have a double jump, a jetpack and a mining laser.

It gets strange down there

The underground holds things the shop does not sell. Caves sealed from the inside. Buried things older than the house you live in. Keys that open portals to other dimensions. A neighbour who pays for odd jobs in junk, and the junk keeps turning out to be the best gear in the game.

At 5,000 metres

The ground changes and your pickaxe stops working. There is a way through.
