About This Game

HELL IS FUEL is a single-player 3D action roguelite built around one dangerous rule: the fire in your hands is also your health.

Hold Shape to send a living mass of flame across the arena. Guide it through the horde, spending Flame while you attack. Release to Recall it in a straight line through your enemies. Catch several in one return and you reclaim more Flame. Misjudge the route, hold on too long, or take a hit, and the same reserve runs dry.

This is a survivors-like with active aiming, not auto-attacks. Positioning matters at both ends of every attack: where you leave the fire, where you stand when you Recall it, and when to use the long Ash Step to break out of a closing crowd.

• Complete one 18–22 minute descent through two distinct acts.

• Cross the burning tombs of Ash Wastes and the shattered obsidian terraces of Obsidian March.

• Face escalating hordes, elites, environmental hazards, and two bosses: the Cinder Warden and the Obsidian Bull.

• Shape your run with upgrades that alter your trails, burns, Recalls, Flame economy, and Ash Step.

• Master three actions—Shape, Recall, and Ash Step—and find new ways to combine them.

• Enter a Hell of deliberate low-poly forms, sharpened by modern lighting, fire, particles, deformable ash, and heat effects.

Spend your life to draw a stronger attack—or Recall now and survive.
