A cosy woodland café where you understand every customer. Brew, garden and decorate — but the real work is noticing what each animal isn't saying. Serve thirty regulars, earn their trust, and fill a storybook with the stories they've never told anyone.

About This Game

You've always understood them

You work nine to five. You always have. And for as long as you can remember, you've been able to understand animals when they speak — a small, inexplicable thing you've never told anyone.

One evening, on the way home, you find a café in the woods that shouldn't be there. By morning, you're its keeper.

The animals come for the coffee. They keep coming back because, somehow, you get them.

Brew what they ordered. Notice what they need.

Every regular arrives with an order and a mood. Pick the right ingredients, choose their milk, and stop the brew meter inside their sweet spot — every character has their own, and a rushed parrot is not a patient rabbit.

Get it right and you'll earn their trust. But an order is only ever the surface. Spend enough time with someone and you'll start to sense the thing underneath — a kitchen they can no longer picture, a letter they've never opened, a table always set for people who aren't coming. Read it correctly and something between you changes for good.

A café that runs on days, not levels

  • Morning — water the garden, check what's grown, take in yesterday's deliveries, set the day's menu.

  • Service — take orders, brew, cook, clear tables, and talk to whoever wanders in. Some regulars only appear after dark. Some won't come in at all if the room is too busy.

  • Evening — tidy up, count the takings, and rest. Tomorrow brings different weather, and different visitors.

Thirty regulars, each with something they don't say

Mochi the capybara, who is gently forgetting a home he can no longer picture. Sable the fox, the last keeper of a language nobody else alive can read. Twiggy, who isn't shy so much as tired of having to be loud to be heard. Clover, who has been waiting years for a letter that arrived long ago and still sits unopened.

They arrive on their own schedule, notice your décor, notice each other, and remember how you've treated them.

Grow it, furnish it, make it yours

Plant seeds your regulars bring you and grow your own ingredients. Buy furniture and décor, then place it anywhere across the café, the garden patio, the reading nook and the moonlit terrace. Certain pieces quietly draw certain visitors — fairy lights bring the night owls, a fish tank brings the cats.

Something to do every morning

Three fresh quests each day, one easy, one middling, one that will take some planning — served, harvested and tended your way to a little gold. Enough structure to give a day its shape, never enough to make it feel like a job.

Keep the days you liked

There's a camera behind the counter. Frame a shot of a quiet afternoon, a full house, a regular asleep in the good chair — and it goes into the album as a polaroid, kept with your save.

Fill the storybook

Every character has a page. Their favourite things, the stories they finally tell you, the memories you unlock by understanding them, and the keepsakes they leave behind — which you can stick into a scrapbook however you like.

Completing it is the long, quiet goal underneath everything else.

In this demo

The demo runs a full season — thirty in-game days of spring, ending as summer arrives.

Nothing is held back. Every regular can walk through the door, and every system is open: relationships and their milestones, the garden, décor across all four rooms, the storybook, and the quiet empathy running underneath all of it. How many of the thirty you actually meet is up to you — new faces only hear about the café once you've looked after the ones already coming.

Languages

Fully playable in English and Simplified Chinese, including all dialogue.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

AI tools were used during development in two areas. Code: an AI coding assistant helped write and refactor GDScript source; all output was reviewed and edited by the developer before being committed. UI design: interface layouts were prototyped as HTML mockups with AI assistance, then redrawn and implemented by hand as Godot scenes — no AI-produced file ships in the build.

All art and music in the game were created by people. Sound effects are generated procedurally by a hand-written synthesis script (numpy waveform synthesis, no models or samples involved). Fonts are open-licensed, human-designed typefaces.
