About This Game

A town full of strange pinball. See how far you can take it.

In Pinward, there’s a table tucked into every garage, treehouse, and shop. Earn another ball, change the rules, and keep your run alive. Then find a spot for a table of your own.

One more ball

Your first three balls are free.

Your score is also your spending money. Buy another ball or invest in upgrades to earn more, then keep pace as each ball costs more than the last.

Between balls, choose reward offers that boost scoring, add missions, or improve your next choices. Combine them to make more of every shot.

Spend your score in the store to change the table itself. Upgrade mechanisms or choose Alts that grow and reshape toys, opening new shots and missions.

A town that runs on pinball

Some tables hide whole playfields beneath the surface. Others put something breakable in the ball’s path. There’s room here to see what else pinball can be.

Points for style

The ball curls with spin, brakes on friction, and answers a nudge in any direction. Practice dead catches, slap saves, and shots that bleed off speed.

Pinward names and grades your techniques, adding their points to a separate bonus. Tilt, and you lose it.

Build your own tables

Find a spot. Make it yours.

Build a table and let Pinworks propose rules to suit it. Play, tune, and make it your own. The editor is included, with no coding needed.

  • Build with everything from flippers to railguns.
  • Decorate with hundreds of props, lights, and your artwork.
  • Tune missions, multiball, and scoring. Test with bots.
  • Share tables and blueprints through Steam Workshop.

Same table. Different directions.

Play together on the same table, at the same time. Each player’s ball falls towards their own drain. Defend yours, knock a rival’s ball off course, or sink yours into their drain for a poach and bonus points.

Play locally or online. Go head-to-head, team up, or take on bots.

Run that back

Revisit dramatic saves and big scoring moments with automatic highlights. Follow the ball with a chase camera, watch a close call from the drain, then share the replay.
