About This Game

You are trapped in an endless dungeon, and will only survive as long as your torch does. How deep can you go before the darkness claims you?

Endless Descent

Torchlike is a short but very tense horror walking simulator through procedurally generated dungeons. Navigate twisting passages as your torch slowly dies. If you're skilled or lucky, you might delve deep enough to find a new one and extend the nightmare for a few more floors.

Manage your Risk

Each floor holds a choice between a fresh torch or a random potion with unknown effects - it might make you lighter of foot, improve your ability to jump, extend the range of your torch, or simply change its hue. The improvements are incremental, but they stack up. How far can you go between fresh torches? How much are you willing to risk as the dungeon levels get bigger and the labyrinth more complex?

There are no monsters. No combat. No inventory. No puzzles. Just you, your torch, and the darkness.
