Balance brooms, reeds, feather dusters, and one deeply uncooperative crowbar on a single fingertip. Chase the center of mass, survive crosswinds and parrots, earn coins, unlock skills, and consider an important question: is staying upright really more impressive than being caught?

About This Game

Why is a broom standing on your finger?

It does not know.

You do not need to know either.

You only need to move before it falls.

In BeBalance, you control one extended fingertip with the mouse and support an object governed by gravity, weight, air resistance, impacts, and crosswinds.

It may be a broom.

It may be a reed.

It may be a feather duster that considers every gust of wind a personal invitation.

It may even be a crowbar with considerable mass and very little respect for the concept of sweeping.

When it leans left, follow it left.

When it leans right, chase it right.

When it suddenly flies into the air—well, perhaps you moved a little too enthusiastically.

Losing contact is not the end. Move beneath the object quickly enough and you can support it again by its base, middle, or another reachable point.

True balance is not the absence of movement.

It is having enough time to make one more correction.

One Finger, Actual Physics

Objects do not politely attach themselves to your fingertip.

Contact from below creates support. A sideways collision transfers force and rotation. Different contact points produce different amounts of torque, meaning that a heroic catch may restore balance—or send the object toward an entirely new problem.

After unlocking the Charged Flick, hold the left mouse button to launch the object deliberately.

This may not sound like balance.

Sometimes letting go is simply the first half of catching something again.

Everything Belongs on a Fingertip

Unlock a collection of brooms and several objects that refuse to identify as brooms:

A light and nervous Apprentice TwigA broad, soft-tempered Hearth BroomA Feather Duster that treats air resistance as a lifestyleA long and grounded Copper-Ring BroomA Cloudfeather Broom for which gravity seems unusually patientA Reed Stalk that sings to the wind and occasionally attracts parrotsA Moonphase Broom committed to its own rhythmA Dragon-Whisker Broom that is difficult to move and harder to impress
  • A Scarlet Crowbar that fears no wind, sweeps no floor, and regrets nothing

Each object has its own weight, air resistance, center of mass, stability, and reward multiplier. They tilt, spin, fall, and launch in different ways.

Many also have a unique right-click ability.

These abilities will usually help you.

“Usually” is a flexible word.

Buy Objects. Learn Techniques.

The longer you remain balanced, the more coins and points you earn.

Spend coins on permanent products and new balance objectsSpend points to unlock and upgrade techniquesImprove catching, wind resistance, recovery, and coin rewardsUnlock tilt indicators, force gauges, and the Charged FlickAdjust the active level of techniques you have already masteredEnter challenge modes with different hazards and rewards

Focus rises while the object rotates slowly. When movement becomes too violent, Focus gradually returns toward its foundation.

Focus does not ask the world to stop shaking.

It merely continues watching while it does.

Sometimes the World Pokes Back

Crosswinds arrive from changing directions. The wind indicator will warn you before they strike.

Parrots will not.

They fly through the scene, collide with your balance object, leave behind a few feathers, and depart with the unmistakable confidence of something that believes this was entirely your fault.

Choose a calmer practice session, step into a storm, or attend a parrot party with no respect for personal balance.

Every run also presents one bilingual reflective line that remains until the run ends.

It will not give you the answer.

Neither will the broom.

Perhaps the two of you can remain upright long enough to think about it.

Everything falls eventually.

The good news is that, until then, you still have one finger.
