1. Please Enjoy Your Vacation at Your Desk

Chief Endurance Officer is a semi-automatic wilderness survival game that lives quietly in the corner of your work screen. Eight hours at the office equals five full days in the wild. You only need to make a few key decisions during work breaks: Where to explore today? Reinforce the camp? What tools to craft?—The rest of the time, your character will do the hard work for you.

2. Pins Are Distributed According to Labor—Eat More, Earn More

Pins are your action points in the wilderness. Each morning, use pins to plan your day: up to three, one each for morning, midday, and afternoon. Where do pins come from? From last night's dinner—want to get more done tomorrow? Eat more tonight.

3. A Destination You Can Trust

First stop: the mountains of Guangzhou, China. You will be staying in a panoramic eco-suite, with all ingredients freshly caught and gathered, unlimited servings—every plant and animal is drawn from reality, researched and verified one by one.

The more you know about real-world materials and bushcraft, the better tools you'll craft and the more "surprise events" you'll survive. And if you know absolutely nothing about the outdoors? No worries—a few missed meals and you'll figure it out.

4. Diversified Performance Reviews

The longer you endure, the closer you get to the legendary title of Chief Endurance Officer. Of course, endurance isn't everything. The company encourages well-rounded development: Chief Casualty Officer, Chief Starvation Officer, Chief Toxicology Officer, Chief Electrocution Officer—welcome to the C-suite.

5. Team Building Is Permitted

You may invite up to four friends to "vacation" together. Most days, you'll each be enduring on your own; when your paths cross, take a photo, trade journals. And in a true emergency, you may send out a distress call—after all, hard times reveal true friends.
