What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Floorball League 2010 Remaster already has a substantial playable foundation, but several areas will benefit from testing across a wider range of players, hardware configurations, network conditions and play styles.

Early Access allows us to improve online play, AI, match balance, controls, progression, performance and usability with direct feedback from the floorball community. It also gives us time to expand and polish the experience through playable updates instead of developing everything behind closed doors.

We want players to help us identify what works, what needs more attention and which improvements matter most before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Floorball League 2010 Remaster to remain in Early Access for approximately three to six months.

This is an estimate rather than a fixed deadline. The exact duration will depend on stability, online performance, player feedback, content readiness and the time required to reach the quality we want for the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to expand and refine every major part of the Early Access experience.

Planned improvements include a more complete and reliable online experience, additional arenas and sports halls, and additional licensed leagues, teams and players where licensing agreements are secured. We also plan to introduce a new character rig, more realistic characters, additional animations, new music, voiced commentary and a broader selection of customization items, unlockable content and achievements.

My Character, progression, Coach Live and the wider management experience are planned to receive additional depth. We also intend to continue improving gameplay, AI, rules, balancing, performance, accessibility, user interfaces and overall presentation.

The exact scope may evolve based on player feedback, testing results and licensing availability.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is a playable remaster rather than a technical demo. It includes improved core match gameplay, updated rules and AI, multiple match formats, 56 Training Center drills, an IFF-style 3v3 mode and the working foundations of My Character.

Progression systems include player levels, experience, Coins, objectives, achievements and cosmetic rewards. The game also features modernized menus, HUD and match presentation, expanded controller support and working online match functionality.

Several systems are still being expanded. Online services, Coach Live and management features, character models and rigs, animation coverage, content variety, balancing, optimization and presentation will continue to evolve throughout Early Access.

Players should expect occasional bugs, incomplete content, balance changes and other rough edges. Some larger updates may also require changes to existing saves or settings.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The Early Access price is planned to be lower than the full-release price.

We currently expect a modest price increase when the game leaves Early Access, reflecting the additional content, features and polish added during development. The exact final price and timing may change, and Steam will display the appropriate regional price for each customer.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Our official Discord server and the Steam Community will be our primary channels for communicating with players throughout Early Access.

We plan to publish development updates and patch notes, collect bug reports and suggestions, organize focused testing when appropriate, and use polls and discussions to understand community priorities. Feedback regarding online connectivity, performance, hardware compatibility, AI, match balance, controls, accessibility and usability will be especially valuable.

We will review feedback alongside our development goals and technical requirements. Although we cannot promise that every suggestion will be implemented, we want to communicate openly about what we are working on and how community feedback is influencing development.”

About This Game

COMPLIMENTARY UPGRADE

All customers who purchased, and currently own a valid copy of, Floorball League 2010 (2025 Re-release) on Steam between October 2025 and August 2026 will receive Floorball League 2010 Remaster at no additional cost.

THE ORIGINAL FLOORBALL GAME, COMPLETELY REMASTERED

Originally developed by Prodigium Game Studios and released in 2010, Floorball League 2010 returned in 2025 after FIJOY Games acquired the rights and original source code.

What began as a visual upgrade has grown into a comprehensive modernization of the entire game. Gameplay, rules, AI, controls, animation, graphics, audio, performance, interfaces and underlying technology are being improved or rebuilt while retaining the fast and tactical floorball identity players remember.

This is not simply the original game running on modern hardware. Floorball League 2010 Remaster is being built as the definitive version of the game.

IMPROVED FLOORBALL ACTION

Return to the rink with more responsive controls, refined player movement, improved animations, smarter AI and updated rules and match systems.

  • Improved gameplay and responsiveness with refined movement, passing, shooting, defending and physical interactions.

  • Improved team and player AI designed to produce more convincing positioning, decision-making and match flow.

  • Updated rules and officiating across traditional matches and the new 3v3 format.

  • Expanded controller support and modern platform compatibility.

  • Dynamic rink details including reactive boards and referees that can jump over the rink when space is limited.

56 TRAINING CENTER DRILLS

Develop specific skills through a complete matrix of 56 Training Center drills. Work on movement, passing, shooting, defending, goalkeeping and match situations through focused exercises.

A four-step interactive Quick Controls tutorial introduces the fundamentals before allowing players to move into more specialized training.

IFF-STYLE 3V3

Experience a faster and more compact form of floorball on a dedicated 22 × 11 metre rink.

The 3v3 foundation supports exhibition matches, tournaments, seasons and shootouts, with format-aware rules, officiating, interfaces and match presentation.

CREATE YOUR PLAYER

My Character introduces a personal progression experience built around your own floorball player.

Choose your player’s nationality, club, position, handedness, appearance and playing identity. Improve attributes through training sessions and matches, earn experience and maintain persistent statistics as your player develops.

Progression systems include:

  • Player levels and experience

  • Earned Coins

  • Objectives and achievements

  • Journey progression

  • Attribute development

  • Persistent match statistics

  • Cosmetic rewards and customization

Bring your player onto the rink with the team of your choice and continue developing across different modes.

MODERN MATCH PRESENTATION

Every match is presented through a redesigned broadcast layer built to make the action clearer and more exciting.

  • A modern scorebug with team identities, flags, score and match clock

  • Shot-speed information and event callouts

  • Scorer and penalty lower thirds

  • Replay presentation and transport controls

  • A tactical mini radar with flat 2D and hybrid 3D views

  • Horizontal and vertical radar layouts

  • Live character previews during team and jersey selection

  • Redesigned menus and clearer match setup

COACH LIVE

Coach Live is the foundation of the Remaster’s management experience. Build and manage a team through lineups, tactics, training, contracts, transfers, scouting, staff and medical systems.

The management mode will continue to gain depth throughout its career structure, simulation systems and long-term progression are expanded.

ONLINE COMPETITION

Online play is being developed around direct competitive matches using modern online services.
