When Magic Meets Physics, Things Get Messy!

Welcome to a witch academy where competition has gotten a little out of hand!

Mana Boom is a 2D pixel-art physics party game for up to 8 players online. Here, witches don't just blast each other with spells. They swing around on ropes, blow the ground out from under their rivals, and create new platforms when there's nowhere left to stand.

Whether you're battling or racing, the goal is simple: Win!

How you get there is entirely up to you.

Don't Like the Terrain? Change It!

In Mana Boom, the world doesn't stay the way you found it.

Blow through walls, dig holes beneath your enemies, or use magic to create new platforms wherever you need them.

Need a shortcut? Make one! About to fall? Build yourself a foothold! Someone chasing you? Maybe it's time to remove the ground beneath their feet.

Destroy, create, and turn the environment to your advantage.

Just remember, your rivals can use the things you build, too.

One Spell, Endless Possibilities!

Grab your wand, take aim, charge up, and fire!

Arcing spells might seem simple at first, but there's plenty of room for mischief. Make your shots split into multiple projectiles, bounce around, drill through terrain, rewind, shatter, or grow heavier. Mix and match these behaviors with different elemental effects to create your own magical combinations!

• Fire: Set the terrain ablaze and watch the flames spread.

• Water: Unleash a flood to wash your rivals away, or use the current to propel yourself.

• Ice: Freeze your opponents solid, and leave the ground frozen for anyone who comes along later.

• Lightning: Let electric shocks jump from the blast area to multiple nearby targets.

Still not enough? Swap places with another witch, trap rivals in spiderwebs, unleash homing magic, or leave behind a mysterious present that punches anyone who gets too close!

Magic isn't just about dealing damage. When to use it, how to combine it, and what else you can do with it is all up to your imagination.

Magic + Physics. What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

This is where things get really interesting.

Blast a hole in the ground, and a pool of water might come rushing through, sweeping away everyone below.

About to fall off a cliff? Quickly create a platform, fire your rope, and swing yourself back to safety.

Enemy hiding behind a wall? Dig a tunnel around them! Can't land a direct hit? Just blow up whatever they're standing on!

Use your rope to swing across the map, or hook another witch and drag them somewhere they'd rather not be. Explosions aren't just for attacking, either. Sometimes a good blast is exactly what you need to send yourself flying.

Magic, ropes, terrain, and physics all interact, turning even the simplest tools into something completely unexpected.

Sometimes you'll pull off a brilliant move you never planned.

Other times, one little mistake will set off a chain of disasters nobody can stop.

Either way, things are bound to get interesting!

Seven Game Modes, Seven Ways to Cause Trouble!

Fighting isn't everything! Race to the finish, steal flags, grab coins, or hop on a broom and take the chaos to the skies.

Deathmatch

Knock out as many rival witches as you can and rack up points. Fighting head-on works, but blowing up the ground beneath someone can be so much easier.

Rope Race

Swing through the course at high speed and find the fastest route to the finish. Someone getting ahead of you? Just hook them with your rope and pull them back!

Capture the Flag

Break into enemy territory and steal their flag! Charge through the front, snatch it with your rope, or dig a secret tunnel and sneak right in.

Broom Battle

Hop on your broom and battle it out in the skies! Flying skill matters, but so does knowing when to blast someone out of the air.

Broom Race

Speed through twists, turns, obstacles, and boost zones on your broom. And if another witch gets in your way, why not knock them straight into a magical barrier?

Coin Rush

Grab coins and watch your treasure chest grow! Just remember, the more valuable your chest becomes, the more everyone else wants a piece of it.

Jump Race

Charge your jumps and climb through tricky platforms and obstacles. Of course, getting to the top is easier when you knock your rivals into the sea!

Every mode has its own objective, but there's never just one way to win.

Lost This Round? Try Something Sneakier Next Time!

In multi-round tournaments, the game mode can change from one round to the next, and your magic keeps evolving along the way.

Choose upgrades between rounds to strengthen your spells, change how your projectiles behave, and experiment with new combinations of elements and magic.

Will you keep improving your favorite spell, or try a combination that sounds completely ridiculous?

You never know. That harmless little spell from the first round might become everyone else's worst nightmare after a few upgrades!

No Friends Around? The AI Witches Are Ready!

Play online with up to 8 players, or take on AI-controlled witches. Even when nobody else is around, you can still enjoy the different modes and tournaments on your own.

Customize your witch's appearance, or use the built-in Map Editor to create your own arenas for everyone to fight, race, and wreak havoc in.

Pull every dirty trick you can to win. Just be careful it doesn't backfire on you!
