About This Game

Tanto is an asymmetric multiplayer horror game for up to five players.

Four players take the role of Victims trapped inside a maze. Their objective is to explore the environment, complete its puzzles, open the exit, and escape. A fifth player controls the Entity and attempts to find and eliminate them before they succeed.

Victims must coordinate while navigating unfamiliar corridors and locating puzzle objectives. Different puzzles require the team to activate switches, recover missing objects, hold positions, or complete coordinated tasks throughout the maze.

Victims can use equipment that supports navigation, communication, healing, scouting, and survival. Injured players may require help from their teammates, making cooperation and positioning important throughout the match.

The Entity uses a selection of supernatural abilities to track Victims, pursue them, interfere with their communication, affect the environment, and disrupt their progress. Different combinations of abilities and equipment allow both sides to adjust their approach between matches.
