What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“To get your help to test things out and get initial feedback, so we can make improvements. Tactical Zoomies is multiplayer, so it needs real lobbies, not just local playtests. Early Access lets us ship something playable now, see what people actually like, and improve netcode, balance, and features based on that instead of guessing alone.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Its hard to predict but we expect Early Access to last around 6 to 12 months, depending on feedback and how quickly we can ship the next maps, modes, and polish. That timeline may change based on what players ask for most.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to keep polishing what is already in the game and add more maps and modes over time. That includes new objective modes, such as a bomb/plant-style mode inspired by classic competitive shooters, and a chaotic soccer/football mode in the spirit of Rocket League with cats (you can already catch a glimpse of that vibe on the ghetto map). We also plan more weapons, loadout depth, online/party improvements, and general feel/balance updates based on how people play in Early Access. Specific features and timing may change as we learn from the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access launches with a playable multiplayer game: about two solid maps, around six weapons, and three modes (Zone Control, Target, and Team Deathmatch). You get class abilities and loadouts, Handler Bot gunplay, parkour movement, party support, and a peer-to-peer server flow with Create Server / Find Server, including private password lobbies, plus Online, LAN, and Offline bots. It is fun and playable now, but expect rough edges, balance changes, and missing content while we expand maps, modes, and polish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan for Early Access to be priced a bit lower than the full release, and to raise the price when we leave Early Access or as we ship major content. Exact numbers can vary by region and promotions. Anyone who buys during Early Access keeps the game after launch.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback will go through steam community or the form on our website, so we can collect bug reports, mode/map requests, and balance notes. We will watch Steam discussions and posts, and use that input to decide what to fix and build next. Patch notes will call out what changed based on player feedback.”

About This Game

Where Call of Duty gunfights and Battlefield objective chaos meet tactical cat squads with zoomies. In Tactical Zoomies you play a cat whose Handler Bot hauls the weapons while you climb, dash, and fight with a Pride. It's multiplayer and ability-driven, built for squad tactics without taking itself too seriously.

Party up and host your own games

Create or join a party with friends, then host a peer-to-peer server or find one in the browser (lower ping the better). Lock it with a private password if you only want your group in. Play online, on LAN, or offline with bots. Chat with you party or team by voice chat!

Classes, weapons, and builds

Pick a class, set a loadout, and use abilities with your weapons. Kits change how you push objectives, hold a lane, or win a fight. Builds matter as much as aim.

Handler Bot

Your Handler Bot stays with you in combat and carries the hardware. That's the whole bit: cat does the parkour, bot brings the gun.

Climb, vault, dash PARKOUR!

Movement is part of the fight. Walls and rooftops are real routes. If you only stick to the floor, you're missing half the game.

Modes

Zone Control, Target, and Team Deathmatch. Fast matches, clear objectives, easy rematches with the same lobby.

Built by a 1 man indie team studio from moms basement with cat by his side.
