Shell Heroes: Awesome Island is a 2D side-scrolling action-adventure about fighting, exploring, and growing with the shell on your back. Choose one of nine heroes inspired by real hermit crabs and uncover the secrets of an island swept by a storm.

Your shell is your weapon

Strike with your pincers, throw your shell like a boomerang, and pound the ground from above. Combine your hero's skills with your shell's special ability, dodge enemy attacks, and find an opening against the island's bosses.

Collect it. Craft it. Make it yours.

Use materials from your adventures to craft and upgrade shells. A different shell brings a different look and ability. Restore your health with freshwater, care for your shell with seawater, and grow stronger through molting as you find your own way to fight.

What lies beyond the shore?

Travel from sunlit beaches and lush jungle to rocky coasts, swimmable tide pools, shipwrecks, and deep-sea ruins. Each region brings its own terrain, mechanisms, enemies, and bosses. Follow side paths, hunt for collectibles, and take on requests from the island's residents.

Meet the residents of Sora Village and prepare for your next journey. Each of the nine heroes has a story as well as a distinct set of skills. Follow their character quests to discover what brought them to this island and what they hope to find.
